Staffing MS’s ambition is to take external hiring to the next level, positioning it as an integral part of contingent workforce. Our vision is for organisations to be able to work directly with all suppliers and contractors, with dedicated Managed Service Provider, Staffing MS, taking care of the full hiring process and affording the organisation full control, insight and governance concerning its hiring activities.

Our vision for the design and operation of a exernal hiring structure is illustrated below with the help of our tiered model. The ‘tier model’ forms part of the integral flow of personnel and has been designed to facilitate more efficient practices around the hiring of temporary staff. The model saves money whilst providing a tighter handle on the process and risks involved with external hiring.
An organisation’s core workforce consists of its direct employees. The first three tiers form a so-called buffer between the core personnel capacity and the capacity of suppliers (temporary work agencies, secondment agencies and employment agencies). This buffer consists of flexible staff with temporary or on-call contracts and preferred candidates who are deployed under a payroll structure or as freelancers. Together, these three tiers ensure that good and already familiar candidates are selected whenever a requisition is issued, at the lowest cost and within a short time frame, without the intervention of suppliers or agencies.
If a request cannot be fulfilled by the company’s own staff or ‘own’ external professionals, external suppliers will be called upon. Depending on the hiring scenario, these may be preferred suppliers and other suppliers. Staffing MS recognises the value of suppliers, particularly for very brief assignments (temps) and specialist roles. Our experience has taught us that a more deliberate usage of the various tiers within the contingent workforce leads to cost savings of 15-30%.
